And When I Read It…

Some words are enough to make you feel a thousand of unknown feelings sunken deep into your heart. It’s strange how contained these feelings seem once and how little words can set them free like flying birds.

Nostalgia gripped me tightly when I read these words today.

My heart is so small
It’s almost invisible.
How can you place
Such big sorrows in it?
“Look,” She Answered,
“Your eyes are even smaller,
Yet they behold the world.”

It sometimes feels strange how we drift aloof from certain people with whom we once envisaged our life together. That time appearing like a flash, and then fading like transient impressions on sea sand. Mind wandering in directions in search of that presence that left you once, in a hope to find it, and to never let it go…
